With the the end of the season in sight , the question has been how much have we grown this year ?.
The Agscope North West results (From Grazing platforms across Lancashire and Cumbria ),
the total grown is 10.9 T/DM/Ha so we are compared with last years number of 11.7 t/DM/HA approx 7% behind , so if you need grass in you’re system in any way make sure you have enough forage in the clamp this winter because it could be tight. Sunlight has been a premium this year and along with a hang over from last winter has surely had a effect on the total grown.
