- Action points while grass growth slows down
- Extend the grazing round in terms of days it take to round the grazing area by adding more area – this might mean bringing silage area in the the short term
- Feed silage or another form of Dry matter (compounds could be a option if you want to keep it simple , but its expensive )
- watch condition on animals if grass supply is short – adjust diet accordingly
Soil temperatures now running at 16 degrees and climbing.
Make the most of grass by grazing in paddocks if possible ( it will increase grass growth by 40% just by grazing in this way )
